Alegría Palace is a vacation rental residence located in Brisas de Zicatela, Oaxaca, designed to offer a unique tourism experience. Inspired by Moroccan architecture and the palaces of North Africa, it aims to attract both national and international visitors through a sensorial and exotic aesthetic. The project invites local tourists to inhabit a foreign architectural language, while offering international guests the opportunity to experience the Mexican Pacific in an original setting. During high season, it achieves a 95% occupancy rate.

Designed for four guests, the house includes two bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms and walk-in closets (one with a bathtub), as well as a living room, dining area, kitchen, central pool, terraces, and patios. Local materials such as brick and pigmented earth reinforce the Moroccan style, complemented by African objects, copper sinks, and antique Mexican doors. The landscape features a blend of Oaxacan palms and cacti, evoking the intersection of beach and desert.

Built in just seven months, the house exceeded the client’s expectations despite the challenges of the site and the shortage of specialized labor. Its urban impact has been significant, inspiring the renovation of neighboring properties and sparking new developments in the area.
